There are four types of linear stepper motors by Jkongmotor:
external drive linear stepper motors (including T-type lead screw
and ball screw), Captive linear stepper motors and Non-Captive linear stepper motor,
and the connector, gearbox, encoder, brake orintegrated driver are
optional.
Linear motors are commonly used for actuating high performance
industrial automation equipment. Their advantage, unlike any other
commonly used actuator, such as a ball screw, timing belt, or rack
and pinion, is that they provide any combination of high precision,
high velocity, high force and long travel.
Due to simple magnetic properties and no mechanical conversion, a
linear motor offers precise and fast linear force. Stepper motors,
on the other hand, have quite complex functionality due to the
involvement of mechanical conversion and, most importantly, the
introduction of multiple steps in the process.
